The On page SEO means optimizes the onsite website.

    But the question arises in mind is what exactly does in this “optimization” process? The On- Page SEO mainly focus on the exact match keywords on your page like keywords in the title, description, Header tags and so on.

    Once you understand everything that goes into on page SEO and put the more efforts into these strategies, you’ll see boost traffic and rise in your search presence. Here I am going to share you the best SEO techniques that help to improve your ranking on SERP.

    Firstly we discuss Technical Search Engine Optimization, which is a most important part in SEO.

    Crawling & Indexing

    1.  Meta Robots Tag: Meta robots tag allows to crawling your website. The search engine bots (Google bots) crawling your website and its all pages. If Meta robots blocking the website, Google bot never crawl your WebPages.

    2.  Robots.txt: Robots.txt is a text file that allows search engine bots how to crawl and index pages on their website. With the robots.txt file, you can allow and disallows the URL, folder or page which you want to crawl in the search engine.

    3.   Sitemap: A sitemap is an XML file that has lists of URL for a website. The sitemap allows a webmaster to inform search engines about website URLs that are available for crawling.

     On-Page SEO Techniques

    The On-Page SEO techniques are related to all the internal elements of a website, which make your website search engine friendly. Now, we will discuss important on page techniques.

    1. Keyword Search:  Keywords are the most important thing in SEO. Keywords are the way to rank website on search engine. Basically, Keywords are phrases or words which define what your content is about. In the SEO, the keywords are words that searchers into the search engine, also called search queries.
    In On page SEO, the keywords are different types such as single keywords, Long tail keywords. Nowadays, the long tail keywords are mostly used. There are available more keywords search paid and free tools on the internet that provides the different type of keywords related to your topic.

    Google provides the Keyword Planner tool for keyword search. This tool is mostly used, and it is free for choose the keywords related your content.

    2. Meta Tags: For each page, you can include a set of keywords that is called Meta tags. Meta tags are used to provide the information to the search engines about your page. You can improve a website ranking by using targeted keywords in the Meta tags.

    3. Page Titles: In the SEO, Page titles are the important SEO factors on your website. Each and every pages and post should have its own unique title, which includes the keywords for that page. The title is what the user sees in the search engine for organic and paid search.

    Keep your page title short and descriptive. In page, the title uses the important keywords on it. Google recently increased the character limit for page titles. The page title is character limit is 70 character before showing ellipses.

    4. Meta Description: Meta Description describes what users will find on the page. In this, the search engines read the Meta descriptions to determine the page topic. The Meta description is an important place to include relevant keywords on your content. The Meta description describes the purpose of your business.

    The Meta description is a snippet of up to about 160 characters. Always write the Meta description in between 160-175 characters and put the keywords on the content.

    5. Heading Tags: In the website, your landing page should include multiple heading tags, from H1, H2, H3 to H6. The most important heading tag is the H1. You can use only one H1 tag on any page. The H2, H3 tags are used in the page that is called subheadings.


    These header tags help you to break up your content into smaller sections and paragraphs to make it easier for people to read. Search engines use these tags to determine what is important within your content.

    6. URL Structure: The URL is the main factor of On-page SEO. The Web page URL should be descriptive because it tells you what to expect from the page. The Descriptive URLs include the keywords which you are targeting.

    Basically, the URL structure makes a search engine friendly for each page. The URL structure should be short, user-friendly and easily readable. Good URLs should be less than 250 characters and also use hyphens to separate the different parts.






    7. Keyword Density: Keywords are the main SEO factor and include the relevant keywords on your content helps the search engine and user to define what your content is about. But, when you excessively repeat and overuse the keywords on content. The search engine can banned your site from search engine.


    The more than keywords using in content is called keywords stuffing. Always avoid the keywords stuffing and try to keep your keyword density 2-5%. Keywords density defines that “How many times of keyword you can use in the page.”

    The keyword density is the percentage of the number of times a keyword use on a page. Google has available many keywords density checker tool that helps you to check the number of keywords you can use on a page. Also, you can manually check the keywords density.

    8. Optimize Images: In On Page SEO, optimizing the images helps in your SEO strategy. Using images in your content is a great way to make your webpage more attractive. You can utilize these images to help improve your site ranking.
    Every image has a unique title, so make your targeted keyword the alt text and create a unique title. Optimizing the images alt tag gives the indication to search engine what is your page about.

    9. Internal Links: In On page SEO internal linking is important for SEO. Linking to pages within your website pages is called internal linking. When you link a target keyword on the website, and this link goes to the other page of the website. The search engine spider easily crawls the page and to follow the link to find the other page.

    Internal linking is the ways to point the more important pages than the search engine easily finds the page. The search engine finds a page with the link, they will go, and read those pages and tell the search engine about pages of the website.

    Internal linking helps to build the relevancy of a page and also helps to increase the Google page rank of your page. Internal linking is known as inbound linking.

    10. External Linking: The external links have come from other websites to your website. Same way, when you insert a link to another web page on your site is called outbound link or external link. By linking to other high quality websites can increase the traffic and ranking on your website.

    11. Page Speed: Website page speed is an essential part of SEO. If your website loading speed is very slow, then the users leave the website. Having fast loading websites is good for SEO as well as increases your conversion rate.

    However, Optimize the website page speed then the website takes some seconds off the page load. Look at this points which slow down the speed.

     12. Mobile Friendly: Nowadays, most of the searches on Google from mobile devices. That means, if your website is not mobile friendly then you are losing potential traffic.
